Guest guest
I have had to try everything over the years, so may I suggest this. Get a divided casserole dish. One like this picture. http://www.tias.com/cgi-bin/google.fcgi/itemKey=1922963807 Look around at thrify shops, etc. You make his lasagna and make yours on the other side and you enjoy your tempeh, tofu, TVP or any other thing you want to try. You don't have to bend for him, you will both be happy this way. You are the one cooking and you deserve to be satisfied too. Just call me Dr. Phil LOL I think I almost have every solution to a problem when it comes to vegetarian cooking, serving guests, etc. I've faced it all. Just leaving out the meat from regular recipes or using recipes that use beans, eggs, or cheese are the only ones my hubby will accept. He is not a vegetarian but omits meat most of the time to accomadate me. I went to a lot of effort to make a lasagna recipe with tempeh only for him rebel--I put most of it down the disposal. He refuses for me to try tofu, tempeh, or any other similar products again. Since it's only the 2 of us that's the way we go but I have to admit I'm curious when I read some of the recipes posted! >
