Guest guest
I found it for you: Garbanzo Veggie Burgers 1 (16 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained 1 cup shredded carrot 1 finely chopped celery stalk 1/3 of an onion chopped 1/3 cup seasoned bread crumbs 2 tablespoons Italian salad dressing 1 egg beaten 2 tablespoons olive oil 1 dash red pepper flakes and some of your favorite herbs 1 pressed garlic clove Mash garbanzo beans with potato masher or by hand. Leave some as slightly large pieces. Stir in carrots, celery, onion, bread crumbs, egg, garlic and salad dressing. Heat oil in nonstick skillet. Shape into 3-4 patties and brown on both sides. About 3 minutes on each side until browned. Garnish toasted buns and enjoy a new type burger. , " hasuehounds " <hasuehounds wrote: > > Could you repost that recepie? Guest guest
I made this recipe last night. If I make it again, I will leave out the Italian salad dressing....it gave it a pronounced flavor that I did not like. I think it would taste better if you added worcestershire sauce or some barbecue sauce instead. We had them on toasted buns with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, etc. I think I like a veggie burger that is made from pinto beans better although these were ok.....but I sure didn't care for the Italian dressing flavor although others might like then as they are. Guest guest
I wonder if you could use Ener G Egg Replacer instead of the beaten egg...
