Guest guest
Hi gang, I want to make a t*rkey burger recipe I found. Do you think firm tofu would be a good substitute for the meat? This is the recipe that Oprah was raving about. You can find it here: http://www2.oprah.com/foodhome/food/recipes/200805/food_20080516_burger.jhtml I like that this recipe is otherwise vegan. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, That does sound good! I'd go with mashed black beans, but tofu might work just as well. Enjoy--and let us know how they turn out! Peace, Maureen Sharon Zakhour wrote: > Hi gang, > > I want to make a t*rkey burger recipe I found. Guest guest
agreed... beans tend to hold together better especially if you are going to grill / fry the 'burger'. If you are going to bake it... the tofu might be just fine also. Experiment and try both.
