Walnut and Pepper Pasta Topping - 3 pts,CARBOHYDRATES 5.1 G;DIETARY FIBER 2.2 G

 

2/3 cup chopped walnuts

2/3 cup chopped roasted peppers

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons minced parsley

1/8 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

 

 

 

 

1. In a large nonstick skillet, heat the walnuts over medium heat, shaking the

pan frequently, until toasted and fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Stir in the roasted peppers, garlic, parsley, salt, and red pepper flakes.

Cook, stirring frequently, until heated through, about 3 minutes. If the mixture

starts to stick to the pan, add a little water.
