Guest guest
Hi Sam, My fiancé is a meat-eate. I've been a vegetarian for over ten years now, I'm 56, and I have grown-up daughters and we tended to eat 95% meat-free dishes anyway The technique I've successfully used to wean off the carnivores is to prepare their favourite, unidentifiably-meat dish like stews, casseroles, pies etc. but, instead of the meat, using the chunkier beans like borlotti, cannelloni, kidney and/or a variety of lentils; in well-seasoned tomato or béchamel sauce it is indistinguishable and, with luck, preferrable [] The stronger cheeses like mature Cheddar and feta mixed with the beans or pulses gives it a richer flavour Happy converting, Jayne x , " Sam " <samt wrote: > > Hello! > > I am new to the group.
