Guest guest
Melissa, Grate the squash and press any water out of it, use for zucchini bread or cook as you would zucchini. The radishes I use sliced in sandwiches or I make a hole in the center and fill with hummus and eat, I will add them diced to salsa or even guacamole. I love them on top a bowl of black beans withg pico de gallo. Melissa those are common two veggies, wanna come and shop with me and I will show you some very outlandish veggies and how to cook them.LOL Donna --- On Sat, 6/28/08, Melissa <mapalicka wrote: Melissa <mapalicka mysteries of the csa box this week Saturday, June 28, 2008, 9:40 AM this week our produce box has beets (which I now like), yellow squash, potatoes, herbs, baby broccoli, radishes and some kind of bright orange zucchini type vegetable. What is this? Can I use it like zucchini, like in breads and everything ? Also, what do you all do with radishes? I thought I was fairly well versed in veggies but apparently I am only well versed in grocery store veggies. This box of surprises is fun! thanks, Melissa P
