Baby Vidalia Onion Pie

 

2 pounds baby Vidalia onions, thinly sliced

1 stick margarine

3 eggs, well-beaten

1 cup sour cream

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon white pepper

1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce

1 pastry shell, unbaked

Grated Parmesan cheese

 

Saute onions in margarine. Combine eggs, sour cream, seasonings, and

Tabasco sauce. Add to onion mixture and pour into pastry shell. Top

with cheese. Bake at 450 degrees F for 20 minutes, reduce temperature

to 325 degrees F and bake an additional 20 minutes.
