Here is a great omnivore recipe that

I converted to vegetarian very easily

using leftover Quorn roast one day.

This has become one of my favorite

sandwich spreads.

If you don't have any leftover Quorn roast

you can use some other veggie unturkey

product by placing it in a food processor

to mince it fine. :)

Almond- " Turkey " Cheese Spread

1 package (3 oz.) cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce [vegetarian]

1/2 tsp. garlic powder

1 cup Quorn roast, shredded or finely chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup slivered almonds, chopped

In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sour cream,

Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder until combined.

Stir in the Quorn roast, cheddar cheese and almonds.

Serve with crackers or as a sandwich spread.

Refrigerate leftovers.

Yield: about 1 1/2 cups

The Sea of Galilee and the Dead Sea are made of the same

water.  It flows down, clear and cool, from the heights of

Hermon and the roots of the cedars of Lebanon.  The Sea of

Galilee has an outlet.  It gets to give.  It gathers in its

riches that it may pour them out again to fertilize the

Jordan plain.  But the Dead Sea with the same water makes

horror.  For the Dead Sea has no outlet.  It gets to keep.
