Guest guest
Kelly, Was your veggie burger at Ruby Tuesday actually a veggie burger or did they by mistake make you a " meat " burger instead? If a restaurant has a veg. burger option on the menu, I often try to order it, just out of curiosity to see what kind they serve. (And, I figure, the more people do order these items, the more likely the place will be to keep it on the menu.) I am sorry to hear yours was a disappointment. If they brought you the wrong sandwich in the first place, you would have been justified in complaining and asking for a proper VEGGIE burger instead of what you got. Like you said, at least they didn't charge you for it, but too bad you didn't get what you asked for! --Laura B., in Illinois. (Thanks to the info from this group, I recently tried the Veg. burger on the menu at Burger King--not bad, as veg. burgers go!) Posted by: Kelly Best: Tuesday night we went out to eat with another couple at Ruby Tuesdays. & nbsp; I was so excited as they have a veggie burger that I so wanted to try. & nbsp; They have a killer salad bar with the best Walfdorf salad ever. & nbsp; They use dried cranberries in it. & nbsp; They also have a delicsious avocado ranch dressing. & nbsp; Well, when the burger arrived it was huge. & nbsp; It looked similar to my dh's but when I took the first bite it was horrible. & nbsp; I was so disappointed, but hey, at least they have the best salad bar! & nbsp; And, & nbsp;I didn't even ask, but Ruby Tuesdays didn't charge for the & nbsp;burger, which was great. Guest guest
Laura - Yes, it was the veggie and not a meat by mistake, as my dh got the & nbsp;meat one and his actually looked like meat. & nbsp; He reminded me though that he grew up eating " Choplets " (something & nbsp;in a can at the 7th day adventist store), which he loved. & nbsp; So, when we were married I made it for him and didn't like it. & nbsp; I think it was made out of wheat, which is what I'm wondering if this veggie burger was. & nbsp; I'm going to keep on different ones when I come across them. & nbsp; I haven't been to Burger King in years, so I'll need to go just to try their veggie burger. & nbsp; It's still exciting that & nbsp;more and more placed are & nbsp;putting veggie stuff on their menus. & nbsp; Kelly, FL & nbsp;
