Guest guest
Offers to do a project around their house they need done, such as painting or washing their windows, mowing and weed- eating around their landscaping, help them with some planting or chopping down some tree limbs.. Fix something for them that you know how to fix. Replace a light fixture or facet fixture they want to update(let them choose). Etc... Sometimes a family reunion and potluck meal is what they would enjoy most. Or a day of golfing, go to the beach, hiking in the mountains, or go to a ball game with the family. Set up a badminton net in the backyard and everyone take turns playing. Also set up a crochet obstacle course. Have a nice picnic too. Play cards and have finger food and photo albums' to reminisce over. A gift card to a hardware store is nice too. A nice T-shirt with a saying on it. A gift certificate for a massage. Hope this helps.
