I dont pick blackberries much anymore so I dont get to enjoy them. 1/2 cup shortening 1 1/4 cups sugar 2 eggs 2 cups flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup milk 2 cups fresh blackberries Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs one at a time and blend. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk. Fold in berries. Bake at 350F for 25 30 minutes. Makes 18 muffins. Come on over and let's make seasonal Candies together.
