Guest guest
Canned veggies have their place, and while I prefer fresh, I do stock up on the canned forms especially when they are out of season or on sale. Canned asparagus is very soft and this makes it taste not-so-good in any recipe that would need the asparagus to hold its shape. Canned asparagus are good to use in pureed soups or smooth dips. I have even used canned asparagus in a sandwich before. ~ PT ~ " Nature is the storehouse of potential life of future generations and is sacred.
