Guest guest Posted June 6, 2008 Report Share Posted June 6, 2008 @@@@@ Balsamic Port Syrup with Onion Essence 2 1/2 cups balsamic vinegar 1 cup port wine 1 sweet onion, diced Put all ingredients together and reduce over medium heat, down to 1/4 of its liquid. Strain and discard onion. This recipe yields about 3/4 cup.
