Lila's Napa Cabbage Salad

Napa cabbage is a much softer cabbage so it will not last in a cabbage salad as

long. I make a Chinese salad and mix it together just before serving, I like to

use napa also. Now if I make it with regular cabbage it will still taste gine

the next day.

Recently, my friend Lila made a salad with Napa Cabbage. She likes to

use the whole cabbage head but lives alone so tossed it up and ate a

small portion, leaving the remainder in the refrigerator for the next

day. The next day, to her horror, the delicious Napa Cabbage Salad was

MUSH!

 

Does anyone have a good recipe and suggestions of how to keep this

wonderful cabbage from becoming slush? Thanks, Nancy
