Guest guest
Hi Barb, you can use agar agar as a gel and it's easily found at Whole Foods and Asian markets. Now the only problem is it can't be used in Jello pie recipes and things of that nature. Those recipes are created for out of box Jello which contains a lot of sugar weight, artificial flavoring & coloring and gelatin. Here's a bit of info on agar agar http://www.straight.com/article/agar-agar-keeps-moulded-salads-and-desserts-jigg\ ly-hoof-free Donna --- On Sun, 5/25/08, Barb <tigger_twins wrote: Barb <tigger_twins question Sunday, May 25, 2008, 8:41 AM I have recipes that call for Jello and I know not to use it, what can I use as a substitute for it?
