Guest guest Posted May 19, 2008 Report Share Posted May 19, 2008 I made this recipe up awhile ago using my bread maker. It is a heavy loaf of bread, tastes great and is healthy. 2 pound loaf.... Add ingredients in the way your bread machine says to to add them.... 1 1/2 cup lukewarm water 3 Tbs Applesauce 3 Tbs Maple syrup, molasses or sugar free pancake syrup ( I use the sugar free pancake syrup to lower the calories) 2 tsp salt (optional) 3 Tbs dry milk 3 cups whole wheat flour 1/4 cup flax seed meal 1/4 cup wheat germ 1/2 cup wheat bran 4 Tbs vital wheat gluten 1 package yeast Cook on 2 pound, whole wheat cycle. (light crust, if your bread maker has that setting)     Tami Your life is an occasion.
