Aim to make most of your diet (around 75%) raw produce, your favorite fruits

and vegetables. Eat some raw nuts and seeds, maybe a handful a day, or a week,

whatever you are comfortable with. Enjoy what you eat...

Check out hacres.com, they have testimonies of many people getting their lives

back after bad diets.

Another program along those lines is Eat To Live, which I've been

following over a year now. (There are several books by Joel Fuhrman and

a website at www.drfuhrman.com.) And yes, when you switch to a

healthful diet after a not-so-healthful diet you go through detox.

Meaning you can feel really awful for a few days to a few weeks. That

can include lightheadedness, fatigue, headaches. Once you get through

to the other side you feel fantastic.

And, as Donna pointed out, fatigue can also occur from sluggish thyroid,

diabetes, etc so a doctor's visit might be in order.

Good luck!
