I have some sea vegetables in my smoothie every day. (I have a slugglish thyroid.) It seems to help. In fact, a cookbook I just love (it's called The Vegetarian Mother's Cookbook) includes a recipe that mixes several sea veggies together. I blended them up in my Vitamix and put them in a container. Then I can spoon that mix into smoothies, soups, etc. I don't care for sea veggies when I can _taste_ them. :-) Sharon RAWKAW wrote: > Is there any other place to get iodine besides salt? I am hearing that sea salt doesn't have iodine...is that true. I've been using grey sea salt for years...... >
