egg substitution using Flax

Don't know if anyone has ever posted this.

 

You can use flax seed to replace eggs - even turns out slimey like egg whites,

kinda gross actually, but it's only seeds and water.

 

Pour 4 cups water and 4 Tablespoons of flax seeds (I used golden) into a pot

and boil til you end up with 3 cups. Do your best to strain the flax seeds from

the slimy mixture. I then pour this slime into ice cube trays and freeze for

later use. 2 ice cubes = 1/4 cup = 1 large egg.

 

Apparently, this mixture will last quite some time sitting in your fridge as

well.
