Mark Plum Nuttty Bread Cream together: 1 cup butter or marg. 2 cups sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 4 eggs Add: 3 cups flour 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. cream of tartar 1/2 tsp. baking soda 3/4 cup plain yogurt 1 tsp. grated lemon peel 2 cups diced plums (canned work just drain them) 1 cup chopped nuts (I used walnuts) Fill 6 small or 2 large loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Cool 15 mins and remove from pans. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now. What a nice bunch of very special dishes to make your mother feel loved and cared about. You're a very good soon. You know, the other day I was looking for some canned Pineapple tidbids(we put these on pizza) and I saw canned plums. This was the first time I have ever noticed canned plums before. They must be a new item our store has stared carrying. I'll have to try making this plum nutty bread(love the name) and the fig bread that Donna has in the files.
