Guest guest
Hello all; I was looking for some camping recipes and found references to a camping file but I cannot find it?? I took a backpack class recently to learn to pack and cook efficiently when I go camping with my kayak. I was wandering if there are any avid backpakers out there who have some easy light food suggestions? I'm also vegetarian. Thanks! Guest guest
Manon, I love backpacking and do it a lot. I hiked the whole JMT in 06 and had resupply points. I have come up with about 4-5 good backpacking recipes (have experimented a lot but not all are good), i posted them here and they are in the files. There are also other good ones there I have seen. If you cannot find them let us know and I'll repost. If you have any good ones please post too! Guest guest
I borrowed a book from the library called " Lip-Smackin' Vegetarian Backpackin' " by Christine and Tim Conners. The Burrito Ole for Two was tasty enough that it made it into my cook-at-home rotation. Some other likely candidates in there, too. :-) -ginger very occasional backpacker
