I dearly love onions and garlic. Today we made some fresh pesto with fresh

raw garlic minced in it. It was yummo. We love to eat it with Red Oval

Stoned Wheat Crackers. Those crackers aren't sweet at all and are such a

nice thick crunchy cracker.

They don't taste anything like other wheat crackers. They are much better~

Our basil plants are growing great and this is our favorite way to use lots

of this delicious green herb.

We buy the peeled garlic cloves at Sam's club in a qt. size jar. So easy

and quick to use for many things.

I buy sweet onions and eat them in so many things. They are delicious in

steam fried red potatoes, veggie samosa's, soups, casseroles, with

cucumbers in a vinegar marinate, on sandwiches, in salad(love them in potato

salad), omelets, quiche., diced up with tomatoes on a bowl of beans...... I

could go on and an.... lol I go through a bag of onions every 2 weeks

easy.

I too love onions and garlic and Basil is one of my favorite herbs. I

posted a recipe last year for a basil filled baked red onion. It is so

delicious. Can't wait for the new onions to arrive so I can make the

recipe. Deanna in Colorado
