Just noticed this question.

I stopped eating pork and beef in 1969,

.... chicken and turkey around 1980

.... fish in the 1990's. Did eat fish once in a blue

moon when traveling, like scampi in Rome, just a

taste.

I became a complete vegan a few months ago, switching

the milk I use in coffee to soy milk, and occasionally

eating soy cheese, tofutti " cream cheese " [excellent

on cranberry bread!]

I never eat sugar. Well, I occasionally sneak a taste

of a dessert at an expensive restaurant for a birthday

or a bite of wedding cake to be polite, but I'm very

careful to check anything I eat for " cane syrup " ,

fructose corn syrups, etc. No fake sugar or aspartame,

anything like that.

I use toasted sesame oil, especially hot chile toasted

sesame oil to enhance flavors in everything. My new

addiction! Highly recommend it.

I've never had a cavity, never had major surgery, and

am quite healthy at 57. I attribute my health to my

diet, absolutely and unconditionally.
