Guest guest
Hi Mark, Thanks so much! My partner's actually the one who takes the photos, but since she's not on this list, it looks like I do more than sit there and say, " Oooh, there's a pretty one. " She's using a 300 meter zoom lens (heh, look at me, sounding like I know what I'm talking about and all...), so she can get what looks like a close up from a pretty good distance. There's maybe two city blocks of lake between the camera and the nest where we've been watching the eaglet, but sometimes we get lucky and birds or animals will come within a foot or so of us. The geese, swallows, and a few of the song birds seem more curious than anything else, but most of the photos are from at least 1/4 block away, usually quite a bit more. (I passed your compliments on to my partner and just got a HUGE smile. This is a new hobby/obsession, and we're both having a blast.) By the way, your amazing purple plum sauce is one of my favorite recipes. In fact, I think I may have to make some this week. Thank you! Peace, Mo Mark Midnite wrote: > Those are all great photos.
