Guest guest
hahaha I know what you mean. When asparagus, zucchini, peas or spinach are steamed for 30 minutes they all look the same. Green goo! Same with the pasta shapes, they were cooked so long I didn't know if they were spirals, penne, linguine, spaghetti or glue....LOL The lentils tasted like over cooked mud and I would run from the rice........ But could Mom ever bake! Guest guest
My Grandmother was a caterer and she also worked @ the University of Chicago as a dietrician. She has numerous recipes and always created exciting dishes. Her favorite dish was zucchini casserole and it was yum.. She encourage me to cook and also taught me how to grow vegetables in our backyard. We grew tomatos and turnip greens. Her favorite snack to give me was " Ants on a Log " Celery sticks, raisins and peanut butter --mzyummydread...dreaming of rainbows

Guest guest
Non-green soup. Add some carrots and butternut squash or a big scoop of canned pumpkin.
