Guest guest
I received the cookbook yesterday and have read through it. I'd say the recipes are very good for newbies like me, or if you want to make a quick, simple meal using fresh, wholesome ingredients. I did try quinoa, which is something I'd never had before, and I really like it. I ate it plain with a few dried cranberries thrown in and can see how you can use it in various ways like making salads with it. For many of you I'd say it's a bit elementary and certainly not in the caliber of the recipes I've seen here. But it offers some insight regarding various foods and what benefit you derive from them along with her observations regarding the proper way to eat and mix various foods, ie: fruit is digested the fastest so eat it first. It's pleasantly presented with little tips in the margins along the way. An easy read with some good ideas!
