Guest guest
we're an omni household as well. my son went through infancy and toddlerhood as a vegetarian, but now goes back and forth (by his own choice), and my boyfriend will eat vegetarian dishes but not exclusively. for the most part we have something of a rotating system. Charles (my boyfriend) knows that i love him unconditionally but i refuse to cook two separate meals. my son is a five-year-old boy, so he'll eat just about anything. on nights when i cook, i'll make a vegetarian or vegan dish for the whole family. when Charles cooks, he'll make sure to make enough components so that i'm not left to fend for myself, but he and Alex (my son) are also able to eat meat. there are also the toss-up days where we're all too tired to cook and we keep an assortment of vegetarian and omni convenience foods on-hand that can be heated up quickly, such as chicken nuggets, vegetable lasagna, rice-and-bean dishes, hot dogs, veggie burgers, etc. ^8^ Reni ^8^ -- HAIKU --- Drag queens are the rea- Son I pluck my eyebrows.
