I used a 12 oz can of the evaporated milk for the 1/2 & 1/2 cream and 12 oz. can

of Swanson Vegetable Broth for the Broth........ It was great. One of my

grocery stores ordered in some more leeks for me and I'm going to go and pick

them up this evening. We want to make another batch of his with the other

pound of asparagus we have in the refrigerator. I'm loving these sale prices on

it for $1.99/lb.......

Thanks again for this great recipe.... It is a keeper.

You share so many wonderful recipes........ We all appreciate it.

What a great idea! How much evaporated milk did you use?

> 1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces

> 3 cups sliced fresh mushrooms

> 3 large leeks, (white portion only), sliced

> 2 cups broth

Judy - that is SOOOOOO smart. I'll bet it would freeze with the

evaporated milk and come out great. I'm going to put a notation on my

recipe right away!

Oh Chupa, thank you. I tell you. My daughters and I love this soup. I made

it again tonight. It is so easy and delicious........
