Guest guest Posted April 12, 2008 Report Share Posted April 12, 2008 Hi! My name is Rhonda and I'm in the Atlanta area. I've just joined the group:) I am trying to convert to not eating meat at all. Not really a hard thing for me as I've never much cared for it anyway. Even as a child I preferred vegetables over junk food and meat. My problem is this - I work 3 jobs. At 2 of them I spend all my time in my car, in and out of the store (deliver pizzas). The 3rd I basically do wherever I am at any given time when something needs taken care of. While I can eat pizza on the go, I do get very tired of it pretty quickly! I'm looking for recipes I can make quickly at home and grab and go. Some can be reheated in an oven (no microwave at work) but all need to be able to be eaten in a car with limited mess. I don't get lunch breaks if we are busy and we are coming up on busy season. I'm also tired of bean burritos and chinese which are pretty much the only fast food available to me in my area. As for my tastes - I will eat tomatoes cooked in stuff, but not cold or plain..and I don't like mushrooms. Otherwise I'm pretty open to trying stuff if I haven't had it before.
