Guest guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 We promote cookbooks, magazines, stores(like whole foods which have great recipes on their site), when we share a recipe from them that we enjoyed. It is a win win situation for everyone. Many cookbooks share several of their recipes to promote their books too. I share my recipes that I've enjoyed from many different sources with friends all the time. I'm often asked for a recipe when I take food to potlucks, invite folks over for homemade meals, or take some of my homemade food to a sick friend or others. You really have to take it as a compliment when folks want to your recipes and share them with others. So many good memories and friendships are associated with cooking. I was just looking at a book at the library yesterday by Mya Angelo that was on that very topic. Our cooking site and others are there to help each other in our journey to do this for each other and our families. Happy cooking and sharing everyone. We are all in the same boat together. Don't throw away the oars. We don't want to sit on islands all by ourselves. Our wonderful unselfish, sharing members are what make this site such a wonderful resource and help to everyone.
