Guest guest Posted April 9, 2008 Report Share Posted April 9, 2008 Asian Stir Fried Broccoli 1 tablespoons vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger 1 small onion, sliced 1 pound broccoli florets, about 4 cups 1/2 red bell pepper, sliced in thin strips 2 tablespoons water 1 tablespoon cooking sherry 1 tablespoon reduced sodium soy sauce Heat oil in a skillet or wok. Add garlic and ginger and stir fry for 15 seconds. Add onions and stir fry until wilted, about 1 minute. Add broccoli and red pepper and mix well. Add the water and cover, cooking over medium heat for 3 to 5 minutes, or until broccoli is crisp tender. Mix sherry and oyster sauce or soy sauce in a small container.
