Guest guest
Change a few words in the directions of how a recipe is made and it is no longer copyrighted material as only the directions can be copyrighted as the food ingredients cannot be. We have been over this several times on the mixer-owner's list. I think it's commonly done, especially with recipes. However, passing on someone else's email is technically a copyright violation (even if you attribute appropriately); each person owns his own email essentially. To avoid this, you technically need to contact each poster before you pass something on. You would need to do this anyway, because your blanket request (and our implicit consent by not objecting) now wouldn't cover people who join later. You can search the public Archives of a group such as the Group Manager's Forum: _http://tech.GroupManagersForum_ (http://tech.GroupManagersForum) Check Files, then the Legal folder for a short explanation OR do a search of their Messages.
