Guest guest
Donna, I got so wrapped up in preparations for Children's week that i forgot to thank you for the recipe & directions for making Horchata. I'm so sorry! I got busy with other activities & didn't make the Horchata; however, I didn't know that a Hispanic family had been asked to make it. They made enough for over 160 children plus adults. It was very sweet & a little spicy. We had several high school girls come over to the school & perform traditional dances complete with authentic costumes. One of the girls said that Horchata was 'liquified cinnamon rolls " ,lol! That's about what it tasted like! It was quite a week & I was glad when Friday afternoon rolled around!!
