Try Tofurky Italian sausage, it is spicy and I add it to Italian dishes and no

ones knows it isn't the real thing. If you don't like one product try another.

Soyrizo is also very good, I will saute it with a bunch of onions and garlic and

top my pizza and I don't add any type of cheese.

Hi there

We tried making pizzas from vegan soy cheese. We also used gimme lean

sausage laternative. the sausage was pretty grim- but we learned to

crubmle it and cook till crispy, way longer than instructions suggested

and tased ok. The cheese however was tasteless (unles you count soy

aftertase as good).

I like the idea of soy chesse, esp as I am trying to slim- but it

tastes awful. Any one had one that was good?

Thanks

Angie, as tasty as the new meat analogs are (morningstar burgers,

tofurky, Quorn, Yves meatless ground, add others here....) I have not

yet found a cheese imitation that is any good (or even halfway good).

I rather use no cheese than one of those soy cheese products. Maybe

someone else here has had better luck?

Aloha,

We have been using Cheezly Cheese lately, it is certainly the best we

have tried. We order it from VeganEssentials as we have NO place local

for any such thing as " not real " cheese. Cheezly doesn't have the waxy

or grainy taste that so many that we have tried have. They make a nice

Mozzerella and a White Cheddar.

My husband doesn't like the " gimme lean " much, either, but he does

like the Morningstar sausage patties. My own supermarket stopped

carrying them, so I have to keep my eyes open for them when I'm

elsewhere. He says if he ever goes back to eating meat, I should

continue to use these patties in sausage recipes anyway because the

texture is better, less chance of stray gristle. (Ew! But true.)
