Guest guest
I just got a large bag of 1/2 " cut soy textured protein that I ordered from Frontier foods. Anyone have any ideas on how to use it? Thanks! Christiane www.28cooks.com
Guest guest
---I haven't used that particular brand, but have used a similar item called soy curls. I rehydrate them in a vegetarian chicken style seasoning and use them in casseroles and soups. Guest guest
Chili without meat (use the tvp instead of the meat), tacos (use taco seasoning), bolognese spaghetti sauce, many possibilities. TVP is dried so you have to hydrate it, but remember, it is tasteless, very bland, so what I do is hydrate it with a seasoning mix. One thing I like about it is that it is not perishable, it has a very long shelf life. , " britton618 " <clbritto wrote: > > I just got a large bag of 1/2 " cut soy textured protein that I > ordered from Frontier foods.
