Guest guest
Kendall, There are several levels of vegetarianism. An Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian consumes eggs, and dairy, but no animal meat. There's also Lacto-Vegetarian. No eggs, but yes to dairy. Vegan - no animal by-products. No eggs, dairy, honey, etc. Hope this helps clarify a bit! But I have sine learned that being Vegetarian and being Vegan are not the same thing. It is my understanding that Vegens do not consume any Dairy, Milk, Eggs Animal Products, Animal fat/oils. Vegetarians do some of the same but they do consume Milk, Dairy, Eggs and oils. > > I hope this helps. > Kendall,VA > > > > elizabeth allen <eli79md > > Tuesday, April 1, 2008 7:22:09 PM > Re:Cheese link > > I am confused! - I noticed Brie on the alphabetical list but not on the vegetarian list.....actually, scratch that........ why would any cheese need to be listed separately? What would make cheese non-vegetarian - I am out of the loop here I guess....... I have not cut out any cheese...... yikes...I am little afraid to find the answer to my question.... ..... > > ------------ --------- --------- --- > You rock.
