Guest guest Posted March 30, 2008 Report Share Posted March 30, 2008 i invent short cut recipes everytime i cook for myself. here's yesterdays that i revised from a t.v. show " daisy cooks " saute an onion and about 5 cloves of chopped garlic in olive oil. after soft, add mushrooms (cooked or canned), chopped tomatoes(fresh or canned), black and green olives whole or sliced, lots of capers, red peppers, cooked or jarred, black and white beans, cooked or canned and garlic salt to taste. after sauted and mixed together, add cooked rice and saute together until moisture absorbed. serve hot topped with chopped raw onion made red with red hot sauce.
