Guest guest
Hi... I'm a newbie and since I'm in Recipe Wonderland i thought i'd share a couple of my favorite dressings. I don't usually cook with a measuring device, so the measurements are approximate and may, of course, be altered to taste. I use a lot of miso these days as I am one of those Salt Craving types and it helps me not to add the stuff in the shaker (-: Ginger Sesame Dressing Miso Paste ~ 1 tblspoon grated ginger ~ 1 1/2 teaspoon boiling water ~ 1/2 cup sesame seeds ~ 2 tblspoons apple cider vinegar ~ a glug (? 1/8th cup?--- to taste). dissolve the miso paste in the water. put in a blender or chopper of some sort (I use the chopper that came with my immersion blender). Add ginger and sesame seeds and process. It will get thicker the more sesame. Add water and apple cider vinegar to taste and to get the right consistency. ******** Avocado pignolia/pine nut dressing fresh grated garlic ~ 1/4 tspoon one avocado, peeled and seeded (stick it in the dirt, grow a tree (- miso paste ~ 1 tblspoon boiling water ~ 1/2 cup pignolias ~ 2 TB fresh grated ginger ~ 1 1/2 teaspoon apple cider vinegar to taste. Process the same as Sesame Ginger recipe. This must be eaten withina a day; it has a nice creamy consistency.
Guest guest
I will try this. I once got a bottle of ginger sesame salad dressing and loved it and can't find it again.
