Guest guest Posted March 24, 2008 Report Share Posted March 24, 2008 @@@@@ Flavourful Tofu Brown Sauce 1/2 cup Superior Soy Drink, Unsweetened Low Fat 1 1/2 cups water 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/2 tsp dried thyme 1 tsp sugar 1/8 tsp freshly ground pepper 2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 2 tbsp of cold water Combine water, soy sauce, sugar, thyme, and pepper in a small saucepan and boil on high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and whisk in the cornstarch mixture. Simmer while stirring for 2 minutes, or until the sauce thickens. Slowly whisk in the soymilk. Be careful so it doesn’t come to a boil.
