Guest guest
This is delicious. I doubled the recipe and it made 2 of the 8X5 loaves and 2 mini small loaves. Grapefruit Bread 1 3/4 c flour 1 tbsp grapefruit, rind of, grated 2 large eggs 1 tsp baking powder 3/4 c sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 c milk or soy milk 1/4 tsp salt 1/2 c butter or margarine 4 Tbsps fresh grapefruit juice Beat butter & sugar until fluffy, beat in eggs. Sift flour with salt, soda & baking powder in a small bowl. Add dry ingredients to the batter alternately with milk. Add the grated rind & the 4 tbsps of juice. Pour into a greased loaf pan & bake for 45 mins or until loaf tests clean. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack. I've been smiling lately, dreaming about the world as one. And I believe it could be someday, it's going to come. Cat Stevens - Peace Train ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
