can't help you much on fruits and veggies, but as far as sweetner consider

stevia and agave nectar....

Agave nectar on the glycemic index is a 20 whereas honey is 80. I 'm told that

diabetics can safely use agave nectar.

I have an older friend , 83 actually, who can eat bananas and use agave nectar.

I am not sure about the rest of his diet.

Is there anybody could guide me how to control diabeties by using vegetables

and fruits? Please only make suggestions if you really know it. If you know any

good websites, please communicate

Oh man, is this request a plant? I swear, it wasn't from me. ;-) I

talk about this a lot.

If you are talking about Type 2 diabetes, you can reverse it through

diet and exercise. I did and others have as well. Check out Eat To

Live. There's a book, a forum (http://www.drfuhrman.com) and a

group (Eat-2-Live).

I've told my story on here ad nauseum, but I reversed very out of

control type 2 diabetes with neuropathy (my A1c was 12.2 and it's now

under 6.) Through diet and exercise ALONE. :-D

Check out the November 14th, 2007 episode of his radio show -- I was the

guest that day:

Green smoothies are your friend! :-)
