Mediterranean: Spicy Moroccan Glaze

1/2 cup plain yogurt

1/3 cup lime juice

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons honey

1 teaspoon Original TABASCO® brand Pepper Sauce

1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric

1/4 teaspoon ground cardamom

1/4 teaspoon ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon ground cumin

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon white pepper

1 clove garlic, minced

 

 

 

In a small bowl combine all ingredients until well blended. Pour over

[favorites]. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours. Grill or broil [favorites],

brushing with glaze during last 10 to 15 minutes of cooking. Cook [favorites] at

least 5 minutes after last brush with glaze.

 

 

Makes about 1 cup.

ChupaNote: This makes a great glaze for baked tofu kabobs. Or stir into a big

bowl of rice and beans, toss with drained mandarin oranges, and lots of fresh

parsley and mint leaves, sprinkle with black olives.
