Sprinkle strawberries with a little lime or pineapple juice to prevent

them from softening Sort through the strawberries and separate the soft

ones from the firm, the mushy ones can spoil others Do not cover

strawberries. If you store them in a plastic bag, make holes in the bag

Remove caps from strawberries only after washing or place in a salad

spinner to remove excess water. This will help to keep strawberries

from absorbing water when washing them If you must store strawberries,

place them on a paper towel in a tightly-covered container in the

refrigerator for two to three days. You can also freeze them whole or
