hi alia!

i don't know your thoughts on attached parenting... but your son sound like he

likes being

attached... i'm writing this while holding my almost 6 month old son... sep

27th bday =)

I think people (myself included) tend to think babies should just sleep through

the night,

when in reality, most people do not sleep all night long! We co-sleep with our

baby and it

is the best thing! I can't even imagine getting up to care for him. When he

wakes, we

cuddle closer and he nurses... it's not a major disruption to my sleep or his.

 

if you haven't read anything by dr sears you might want to google him. he wrote

the baby

book as well as many others.

 

I want to say, I've been through this before, and am doing much better this time

around. It

helps that I have more help (my oldest babies are 12 years & almost 10 years!)

but also, i

have a more relaxed demeanor about everything this time around.

 

some suggestions (from my baby to yours! >>

do you have any music he might like?

my baby LOVES the gypsy kings, Louis Prima, Mozart, and this crazy french music

we

have... stereo totale - musique automatic, =)

maybe some music will give you a little bits of time to deal with things...

 

most importantly MOST MOST important...

do you nap when your baby naps?

 

seriously.. don't clean, don't prep food, don't do anything.. NAP... at least

once.. it will

help you much more than a clean house
