I have 9 month twins and swaddling was a life saver!! I nursed them both

until just a few weeks ago and I believe what I ate played a large part in

their mood. If I ate any type of " stimulant " sugar, caffeine (which I avoided

as

much as I could-with twins and a 5 and 6 year old I HAD to have 1 cup of

coffee a day to function!) they were a little more cranky than usual. You may

also want to rule out reflux.Good luck.

Definitely.....receiving blankets are a good thing....swaddling

can really help to calm some babies. Also, since you are

nursing, you might think about what you are eating that might

be affecting your wee one. I had to give up several foods...cabbage,

broccoli and onions in the first few months with a couple of my

babies.

Modern mothers sneer at receiving blankets. They should embrace them. Many

babies feel insecure and exposed if they are not wrapped and cry for hours.

Others with sensitive skin can hate a draft, even if they are warm enough.

Others are sensitive to cold.

A wrapped baby is generally a content baby.
