Guest guest
We shutter at the thought of canned Asparagus. Yuck. We LOVE fresh Asparagus. The ways we most like to prepare it, is to snap off the tough end and break the rest into about 1 inch segments. Drop into boiling water. Add a little salt, lots of lemon pepper and cook until tender crisp and still bright green. OR Drop into boiling water and cook until tender crsip and still bright green. Drain. Add to a hot frying pan with a little butter and fresh minced garlic. Sprinkle with some sea salt and stir fry it until it is lightly crispy. *Tip for retaining bright colors on veggies. Alwasy put them into already boiling water, never cold water. Cover and cook until tender crisp and has a bright vivid color. Drain and use as desired.
