Guest guest
Hi Nancy, Let us know how it works with Splenda. We can post the diabtic version in the files. I know it has to be hard being a diabetic at times. I'm so addicted to sweets, I really watch it. I've craved sugar all my life. We have no diabetics on either side of the family and I don't want to be the first. I love to bake so I hurry and slice the sweet breads and freeze and freeze cookies too or I could stand eat 10 servings easily. And I'll find the fatal error in what's otherwise all right. But here you're trembling like a sparrow, I will try with all my might To give you just a little sweetness... Just a little sweetness... Just a little light. SOURCE: Just A Little Light-Grateful Dead ______________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
I will sure try to remember to post the results as soon as I get a chance to make it. I guess I am lucky in that I have not been a candy or sweets lover since I was a kid...but, boy, I have always loved potatoes, white and sweet, pastas, especially homemade, and breads of all kinds......ALL dad-gum high carb foods. Oh, well, as I have said many times in the past 2 years....I am lucky...it was not cancer, or some other horrible disease....you can live with diabeties...you just have to eat like you are supposed to eat....and I try. I could make chocolate chip cookies all day long and not eat one of them... but don't let me get too near plain old homemade sugar cookies...my favorite!! Nancy C.
