Guest guest
From what I have read, the Canellini bean is a variety of Kidney bean....a colorless variety. I love them too, but then I have never met a bean I didn't like! Nancy C. Oh, I forgot about beans! I have always LOVED the summer, with FRESH-picked, green beans from the garden! There is NOTHING like them when they are just as fresh as they can be! The most wonderful of all " dried " kind of beans is, to me, the Canellini bean! I had it in a soup for the first time in a restaurant a couple of years ago, and I fell in love with it. I love the soft, creamy texture of the bean--and I marvel that, even thought it looks a lot like a great northern bean, the taste (to me, anyway) is different. My hands-down favorite bean! --Laura B.
