There is a good book about the many animal products used in foods.

They also have a section on safe beers. The book is a little dated

(1997), but still worth looking at.

Animal Ingredients A to Z, originally complied by the EG Smith Collective

I have the third edition, but I don't know if there is a newer one.

You can buy it here: www.akpress.org or at the usual places on the web.
