Guest guest
Well, I tried seitan last night and was disappointed. I bought the " chicken " flavor (in a tube like tofu), I sauted it in a stir fry with tons of veggies, but didn't care for the taste of it (it had a strange, to me, under flavor, hard to describe...). I have another type in a vac sealed package that I might try, but I'm going to wait a bit (can you freeze it?). Maybe it was this brand, or maybe it's just not for me! I replaced it in the stir fry with quorn mycoprotein and my family (remember, we're transitioning!) loved it (they liked it the first time I made it). Guest guest
I'm sorry you did not like the brand you tried, Jann. But brands do differ. Don't give up. I throw the packages in the freezer all the time. I probably have a half dozen in there now.
